Getting married in May was the icing on the cake for Nicolette and Bill since their daughter, “Princess Chelsea,” was born a little over a year ago.
Their relationship started like a fairy tale: Nicolette took what was supposed to be a seasonal job at a hotel working as a desk agent when she met a handsome bellman. Initially a crush from afar, until Bill noticed something different about her and asked, “Did you dye your hair?” Not only did Nicolette think, “OMG he noticed me,” but “he noticed my hair! Guys don’t do that!”
Soon after they went on their first date, the two became inseparable.
On their third anniversary, Bill asked Nicolette to marry him. They decided on a long engagement…and with all the celebrating going on, they found out Nicolette was pregnant!
In a blink of an eye Nicolette and Bill’s life changed when their beautiful daughter was born in April 2016. They were more over-the-moon in love than ever before.
When it came time for their wedding day, every detail was thought out and included their daughter Chelsea; like having her own special dress, shoes, and tiara. Just look at that huge smile when Chelsea got all dressed up for her parents’ big day!
The beautiful St. Albert the Great Church, and the Talamore Country Club served as the perfect backdrop for the photos. And with a stunning 38 people in their wedding party, we jumped in quickly to capture every moment!
Luckily, it was a perfect day to spend a lot of time outside. The wedding party not only surrounded Nicolette and Bill with love, they also surrounded them with laughs and genuine playfulness. You can see all the joy, especially in the photos looking at the “wedding rings.”
The bride and groom holding their daughter in front of the gazebo really stands out because the color of Chelsea’s dress accentuates the colors in Nicolette’s bouquet!
We were also delighted by the photo of Nicolette and Bill as they stood on the bridge. Not only can you see the beauty of the bride’s wedding gown, but the tall trees seem to almost cradle the couple above the water. It was straight out of a fairy tale.
Speaking of fairy tales…the wedding cake had the words “Happily Ever After,” the cake topper was a princess castle, and the groom had cufflinks that read, “I Love A Princess.”
When it came time for their first dance as husband and wife, it was fitting that the newly married couple chose “One in a Million” by Miley Cyrus. Some of the lyrics include:
“They say that good things take time. But really great things happen in the blink of an eye!”
Oh, and in case you were wondering…Nicolette and Bill celebrated “Princess Chelsea’s” first birthday with her very own cake at the reception. They sang “Happy Birthday” and blew out the candle together. These pictures are among our favorites because it symbolizes the strong foundation of their family.
