Michelle and Dan’s first date took place at a local Italian restaurant (Michelle had baked ziti and Dan had fettucini) followed by watching the hilarious movie Vegas Vacation. It was the beginning of many unforgettable moments in their relationship.
One extra special moment took place in Rhode Island while visiting Dan’s brother. Michelle noticed Dan was acting a little “strange” during the trip but didn’t think anything of it. As they headed to brunch on Sunday, Dan pulled up to a beautiful inn on the water with amazing views of a lighthouse. It was then, Michelle anticipated something special might happen.
“We walked to the rocks by the lighthouse and that is where Dan got down on one knee and proposed.”
After nine years together, on a perfect day in May, these high school sweethearts walked down the aisle at the Warrington Country Club and became man and wife.
We were so honored Michelle and Dan chose Michael’s Photography to capture their big day.
Several photographs that really stand out was their “first look.” From Michelle blowing a kiss to Dan from afar, to the private moment when they see one another for the first time, their sheer joy and excitement can clearly be felt.
And speaking of excitement, the bridal party showered the couple with so much love and laughter throughout the day. We had so much fun capturing their poses! This light-hearted and playful group made for some memorable photos. Like the one where Dan was carried by two bridesmaids, or the wedding party posing at the bar and pretending to enjoy some drinks.
But, we think the highlight of the night was Michelle and Dan surprising everyone with a choreographed dance number. Michelle explained, “now anyone that knows me knows I LOVE to dance, but everyone was completely shocked when Dan busted out his moves!”
The reception was one big party with the newly married couple surrounded by family and friends, all wishing them an incredible lifetime together.
